How does it work?
Download the Cabbit-app in your iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Register, or proceed without an account. Your current location is by default your pickup location. Enter your destination and pickup time. The price of your ride is shown in the app. If your trip details are correct, you can pay for your ride and book. Cabbit searches for a taxi company that can drive you. In 95%, we find a taxi company within minutes. If we don’t find a driver, we immediately refund the trip price. You will receive status updates in the app when your taxi is on its way, with the license plate and location of you driver on the map.
How do I recognise my taxi?
10-20 minutes before the pickup time, your ride is assigned to a driver. Then you will see the license plate, brand and colour of the taxi in your app. You will get some info on your driver as well. On the map, you can follow your driver, and you’ll receive a push notification when the driver arrives at the pickup location. If something goes wrong and you can’t find your taxi, please click on the Help button top right in the app, and call the taxi company. They can help you find your driver.
Can I book a taxi in advance?
In the Cabbit app, you can choose your preferred pickup time. We advise you to book as much in advance as possible. If you book an a.s.a.p. trip, the taxi company will send a driver as soon as possible. The exact timing differs, but after you booked, you will see the ETA of the driver in your app.
How soon will the taxi arrive when I book a.s.a.p.?

How can I change my booking?
If you made a mistake in your trip details, you can contact us to change the date and/or the time of your trip: firstname.lastname@example.org or call/Whatsappen to 035-5427515. If you want to change your pickup or destination address, please cancel your trip and book again with the correct address.
Can I book a van when I travel with more than 4 passengers?
Yes, you can a book a Cabbit XL taxi van. If you’re traveling with a group of 4 or less, and without any luggage, a Standard taxi is perfect for you. If your group is larger than 4 or you travel with more luggage, we advise you to book a Cabbit XL taxi van. If the group or luggage does not fit in the car, the driver is allowed to cancel the ride. Any doubts, please contact us!
I travel with large luggage, can I book a ride with Cabbit?
A Standard taxi is big enough for 4 passengers with a small handbag. If your group is larger than 4, or you travel with more luggage, we advise you to book a Cabbit XL taxi van. Please add a note to your booking about your luggage. If the luggage does not fit in the car, the driver is allowed to cancel the ride. Any doubts, please contact us!
Why did the pickup time of my trip change?
The taxi company that accepted your trip will always try its best to get a taxi to your pickup address at the time that you entered in your booking. However, sometimes the taxi can pick you up a little later. You will see the adjusted time in your app. If this ETA does not work for you, you can cancel the ride. You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 30 minutes in advance. Your a.s.a.p. ride can be canceled with a full refund within 2 minutes after you received an ETA.
How can I change my account details?
You can edit your account details by going to the side menu in your app, and to ‘My Profile’. If don’t have a Cabbit account yet, register yourself by clicking ‘Register’ in the side menu.
Where can I see my trip history?
You can see all your booked trips via the side menu of your Cabbit app.
When will I be charged for the ride that I booked?
You pay for your ride upfront. In 95% of our bookings, we find a taxi company that accepts your ride within a few minutes. If we unfortunately don’t find a taxi for you, the trip price will be refunded immediately.
Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay for your ride in the Cabbit app using iDEAL, credit card, ApplePay, Bancontact, Giropay and EPS.
Is the trip price fixed?
Yes, the price that you pay for your ride, doesn’t change after you booked it. No surprises!
How is the trip price built up?
We calculate the price of your trip by looking at the distance and duration of your ride. We use starting, kilometer and minute tariffs. These tariffs will never be higher than the Dutch governments maximum tariffs.
How can I request a VAT invoice of my trip?
If you have a Cabbit account, you will receive a receipt of your payment by email. If you want a receipt with VAT, please ask your driver to print out a receipt. This receipt includes the trip price and VAT. If you would like an invoice afterward, please send an email to email@example.com and include your own contact details. We will forward your request to the taxi company that drove you. They will send you the invoice.
Can I cancel my ride?
You can always cancel your ride in the app. This can be done in two ways:
- For a ride asap, via the “Help” button in the top right corner.
- For planned trips via the ‘Rides’ section in the side menu. You will find a cancel button under your trip details.
Do you charge a cancellation fee?
You will be refunded your full fare if:
- You cancel up to half an hour before departure
- You have booked a ride ASAP and you cancel your ride within 2 minutes after your ride has been accepted by the taxi company and you have received an ETA
In some other cases, a cancellation fee of €7.50 applies. The explanation of this can be found in Cabbit’s cancellation policy.
How long does it take to get refuned?
We will refund your money immediately. It usually takes 2-3 business days before you see the money in your account. In the statement of your bank you can find the refund in the name of STG Mollie Payments.
My ride has been cancelled because there was no driver available, what's next?
Unfortunately, we were unable to find a driver who can drive your ride. This means that your ride will be canceled and the paid fare will be refunded immediately. It usually takes 2-3 business days before you see the money back in your account. In the statement of your bank you can find the refund in the name of STG Mollie Payments.
I have an issue or complaint about my ride, what now?
If you have experienced issues, contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also call or WhatsApp us at +3135-5427515. We will find you a suitable solution as soon as possible.
If you have a question about your current drive, click the Help button in the app and call the taxi company driving. They will help you!
I lost or forgot something in the Cabbit-taxi, what now?

Can I travel with a Cabbit taxi if I have COVID-19?
If you are sick, the advice is to stay at home as much as possible. Due to the risk of infection, you can’t book a taxi via Cabbit if you have a COVID-19 virus test that is positive.

How do I receive the rides from Cabbit?
As a Cabbit partner, you will get access to the Cabbit environment as well as the Cabbit driver app. All the rides within your area will arrive at the Cabbit Driver app. The centralist that accepts the ride can then allocate the drive to a driver.
What does it cost to become a Cabbit partner?
With Cabbit, you do not pay a fixed fee, just a commission per driven ride. The use of the Cabbit Driver app is free.
How does the client pay for the ride?
The client always pays upfront via the Cabbit app. They can choose from several payment methods, among others iDEAL and credit card. You thus do not have to worry about payments!
